GINA WISKER is the Head of Centre for Learning and Teaching at the University of Brighton, UK moving from Anglia Ruskin University. She has worked in educational development for over 25 years, and in 2005 was awarded a National Teaching Fellowship for her work in learning support. She is the author of The Postgraduate Research Handbook and The Good Supervisor.

Research Dissertation in one book

If you aree doing a thesis or research dissertation, get this one book. Once I had found Wisker's Handbook, my refrencing on the theory became a breeze. Only problem I had is that it is so good that I didnt look elsewhere for my theory! She has also written it in a very easy style, nice for a research topic! Get it, it will help you tons and you wont be sorry.

This book was a requirement for my undergrad research class. It gives a clear outline what a researcher should know but does not go in depth. Would recommend to anyone interested in research and don't know where to begin.
